چکیده

Coastal regions are the residence of an enormously growing population. In spite rich biodiversity, coastal ecosystems extremely vulnerable due to hydroclimatic factors with probable impact on socio-economy. Since last few decades, researchers and policymakers were attracted towards existing water demand–resource relationship predict its future trends prioritize better resource management options. Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) serves wholesome purpose modeling diverse aspects decision analysis using algorithm equations for proper planning management. this study, groundwater demand (domestic, agricultural, livestock sector) in fragile Sundarbans ecosystem was estimated considering different human population growth rates (high, low, current) 2011–2050. The results showed that sustainability aquifer-dependent rural livelihood is expected face great danger near future. total rise by approximately 17% at current rate study area fulfill domestic agricultural requirement, while value goes up around 35% a higher 4% lower rate. increasing analyzed further identify any socio-economic shifts region.
